Instrumental NIN tracks have always been particular favourites of mine, and the way this thing has just appeared out of nowhere is very cool. And ten bucks for a double album? That's double-plus good!
The free 9-song download isn't working for me right now, but I ganked tracks 1, 3 and 8 off The Interblogz, and I'm merely whelmed. None of these are as fanastic as, say, La Mer or A Warm Place. But they're good. Better than the last couple of albums, if only because there're no words. But at the same time, I don't feel any new ground is being trodden. I'll poke about some more, gruffle up as much as I can before I commit one way or another. But for US$10 I'll probably get the CD anyway, 'cause it's a bloody bargain.

I've always loved NIN instrumentals. My ISP throttles torrents so I'll have to go the interblogs route.
